One gesture

Type qot and the thought in any terminal, or open the app and write. No titles, no folders, nothing to decide before the note is saved.

Offline first

Every note is saved on the device before anything touches the network. Take notes on a plane; they sync when you land.

Everywhere you look

Notes move between your devices in the background, so what you wrote on one is on the others by the time you look.

Wherever you are

One account, every client. Sign in once from the terminal and the web app is signed in too.

Early days

qot is in daily use by the person who makes it and a few friends. It works, and your notes are yours to export at any time, but expect rough edges. End-to-end encryption is planned and not built yet; the privacy policy says plainly what the server stores until then. qot is open source under the AGPL.
